Where Do I Start At?

 

The first thing De Los Rios suggests is for you to determine your metabolic type.  There are three metabolic types.  This determination is important, because everyone loses weight differently.  A person with a small frame may require much less to eat than someone with a larger frame.  By knowing your metabolic type, you can determine you diet needs and meal plans.

How is This Diet Different?

 

In many diets, you are restricted on what you can eat. You are starving off the weight.  You are losing both fat and muscle.  Over time, these food restrictions take you right back into food binging, again.

 

With the Diet Solution, your meals consist of healthy proteins, carbohydrates, and good fat. The idea is to eat bigger, quantities of healthy foods.  With three meals and two snacks, you never feel hungry. Those food binges don’t happen. 

 

What Foods Should I Avoid?

 

You need to eliminate the processed foods like cheese, canned soup, etc. You will also need to eliminate crackers, chips, cereal and margarine. These foods help to maintain your weight and keep you fat.

 

What Foods Should I Eat?

 

The Diet Solution recommends foods like: organic meat and poultry, organic eggs, fish, raw dairy products, raw nuts and seeds, sweet potatoes, avocados, sprouted breads and raw chocolate.  These are natural foods that lose the sodium and a host of artificial by-products.

 

Fruits and vegetables are also recommended by the Diet Solution.  Coconut Oil, Butter, and Olive Oil can be used for cooking.  This diet has variety to spice up your life!

 

What Else Do I Get?

 

As part of the program, you receive a food shopping guide, recipe guide, and sixty days of meal plans.
